VANCOUVER -- Goaltender Ryan Miller won't start Thursday in Rogers Arena after what he described as "tightness" in his core areas knocked him out of the Vancouver Canucks' lineup Tuesday.Miller told Vancouver reporters he expects to dress for the game against the Buffalo Sabres and serve as the backup against his former team while Jacob Markstrom gets the start.Miller said he woke up Monday on the team's off day feeling the twinges but felt they would go away so he could play Tuesday against St. Louis.
