Buffalo Sabres trim camp roster to 33Sat, Oct 1st 2016 06:15 pmThe Buffalo Sabres announced the team released 17 players from its training camp roster.Twelve players were loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL): forwards Justin Bailey, William Carrier, Daniel Catenacci (pending waivers), Eric Cornel, Jean Dupuy, Vaclav Karabacek, Justin Kea, Evan Rodrigues and Cole Schneider (pending waivers); defensemen Brady Austin and Brycen Martin; and goaltender Jason Kasdorf.Five players have been released from their tryouts and will report to Rochester for training camp: forwards Matthew Lane and Daniel Muzito-Bagenda; defenseman Mac Bennett and Paul Geiger; and goaltender John Muse.
