BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Sabres forward Evander Kane has filed a countersuit against the woman who accused him of assaulting her.The woman filed a civil suit against Kane in the wake of the alleged incident, during which she claimed he injured her after taking her to the HarborCenter Marriott last December.The countersuit claims the woman made false statements that were meant to damage Kane's reputation.
