By1 Share Share Tweet Share Share EmailThe new Las Vegas expansion NHL club continues rolling out more personnel hires on Tuesday afternoon, confirming the appointment of Vaughn Karpan as the director of Player Personnel for the Nevada-based club.Per the press release, Karpan is coming off his tenure as the director of professional scouting for the Montreal Canadiens, a position he was moved to for the start of the 2015-16 season.It wasn't his first year with the Atlantic Division club, though; the 55-year-old Flin Flon native has worked with Montreal since 2005, serving as an amateur scout, pro scout, and ultimately as the pro scouting director all during his time with the team.
